we thought hard about something we could do which would offer these grieving families more than a running tally count on TV or the mention in the newspaper of their names. And we came up with these flags as a unifying symbol of support. It is our sincere hope that seeing these flags displayed in front of every home and business will bring comfort to the families of the more than 500,000 Americans who have died from Covid-19, and will let them know that their loved ones are indeed remembered and missed.
